How to use CCI indicator with Grid Bot & Infinity Grids Bot
When the CCI (Commodity Channel Index) indicator fluctuates between -100 ~ +100, it’s the moment for using Grid Bot. If the CCI indicator stays above +100, then it’s the moment for using Infinity Grids Bot.
It’s easy for users to add indicators on their chart when using Pionex exchange.
In my previous blog post, I’ve introduced how to use SuperTrend Indicator for buy and sell signals. With the assistance of the CCI indicator, I could switch from Grid Bot to Infinity Grids Bot and get the trending profits.
Notes for CCI Indicator
Here’re my suggestion when using CCI:
- I won’t create any grid bot when CCI is below -100 (in the daily chart)
- Use grid bot when the CCI fluctuates between -100~100
- Create Infinity Grids Bot when CCI breaks 100
The scenario for using CCI + SuperTrend
- CCI fluctuates between -100~100 & price closed above the short term SuperTrend indicator ➡️ Create Grid Bot #1
- CCI fluctuates between -100~100 & price closed above the long term SuperTrend indicator ➡️ Create Grid Bot #2
- CCI breaks 100 & price closed above both short and long term SuperTrend indicator ➡️ Create Infinity Grids Bot
The Moment for closing above bots:
- Close Grid Bot #2 when the price closed below the long term SuperTrend indicator.
- Close Grid Bot #1 when the price closed below the short term SuperTrend indicator.
